The young Frenchman Mr Nô hits the Belgian techno label Lektroluv with his sophomore EP titled Versus, to be released on July 9th. After a successful EP Snakes on Different Recordings earlier this year, Mr Nô is quickly becoming one of the most sought after techno young guns in the game, and the 3-track Versus EP completely backs up this notion. His name is derived from the Japanese word which means ‘skill’ or ‘talent’, which is also the name for Japan’s sacred form of musical drama. Mr. Nô’s sound is very refined for a new producer, fitting into a post-industrial, almost apocalyptic vibe which many techno producers and DJs like to tap into with their sound. With warehouse techno needing some new life breathed into it to compete in 2012, Mr. Nô gives his best effort and offers confidence that the sky is the limit for him.
