JC JOY started in the 90′s while he was still studying High School at that time he had the influence of commercial music genres such as dance, techno, house, deep house, trance. Over his pursuit of knowledge and experience in electronic music  he was now aware of new rhythms of DJs at the time with  producers such as Armand Van Helden, DJ Dero, torsten fenslow, David moral, bass bumpers, U96, and in which already began to lean toward different styles such as tribal house and hardcore.

Since the arrival of 2000, JC JOY takes a new direction and a tendency toward house genre which it would be now his favorite genre per excellence and which always prevailed in his tastes. Having little knowledge of production JC Joy along with a help of his friends moves towards production of electronic music in which he acquired knowledge about production techniques and mastering.

Already in 2005 he makes his first production as a producer and he continues now with new influences of the UK house, and Latin sounds. Today he is producing music with Digital World Records, and is a resident of the discos Nuvo club, and SAGSE club in Cali.
